August 8th: Maine Audubon

After two very warm Greendrinks in a row, please join us for a lovely evening OUTSIDE at Maine Audubon‘s Fields Pond Audubon Center on August 8th from 5-8pm! Maine Audubon Society is dedicated to provide the people of Maine with the right tools to become the nation’s most informed and effective stewards of wildlife and habitat. We accomplish this goal by connecting people to wildlife through our 8 sanctuaries, numerous conservation projects, and advocacy campaigns.

Located seven miles southeast of Bangor, Fields Pond Audubon Center features dozens of year-round environmental education programs, a day camp for children, summer canoe rentals, and a 210-acre sanctuary with trails winding through field, wetland, forest, and lakeshore.

As always, Greendrinks is a free family-friendly event, so bring the kiddos! There is a suggested $5 donation, and we ask that you bring your own drinking vessel. If you forget, we’ll have compostable cups available for $1, and our green pint glasses for $5. Proceeds from the event go toward helping Bangor Greendrinks provide grants to fund worthy projects that help make Bangor greener. See you there!
