May 24th: Greendrinks Explores Bangor!

Summer is just around the corner and we think that calls for a little extra celebration! Join us for a special spring shindig hosted by Explore Bangoron the 4th Tuesday, May 24th, from 5-8pm. We’ll have cold beer, home brewed wine, and delicious snacks. The best part is that all of the proceeds from this event will be going directly towards improving the Kenduskeag Stream Trail by supporting Friends of Lower Kenduskeag Stream (FOLKS)!

If you haven’t heard of Explore Bangor yet, you’re in for a treat.
Located in the former Metropolitan Soul storefront at 25 Hammond St., Explore Bangor offers bicycle, kayak and paddleboard rentals, as well as guided tours of the area.

The Friends Of Lower Kenduskeag Stream (FOLKS) have only been around for a year, but their efforts have helped transform a beautiful urban trail right in the heart of the city.

As usual, Greendrinks is family-friendly, although you’ll need an ID to drink alcohol. There’s a suggested $5 donation, and you’ll want to bring your own drinking vessel. If you don’t, we’ll have compostable cups for $1 or custom glassware for $5. See you there!
