March 13th: Geaghan Bros. Brewing Co.

Published by bgreendrinks on

Join us across the river at the Geaghan’s Tasting Room for our next event on March 13th from 5-8pm at 34 Abbot Street, Brewer! We’ll have beer and snacks provided by Geaghan’s, and if the weather’s nice there will be some outdoor games, too!

Please note that parking might be limited, and we always encourage biking and carpooling to our events.

As always, Greendrinks is a free family-friendly event, so bring the kiddos! There is a suggested $5 donation, and we ask that you bring your own drinking vessel. If you forget, we’ll have compostable cups available for $1, and our green pint glasses for $5. Proceeds from the event go toward helping Bangor Greendrinks provide grants to fund worthy projects that help make Bangor greener. See you there!

About our host, Geaghan Brothers Brewing Company:

“At the turn of the century, there were well over 2000 breweries in the United States. Many of them were small, serving a restaurant, a neighborhood, a city, or a region. American breweries produced a wide variety of styles – pale ale, pilsner, strong ale, brown ale, porter, steam beer, and more. American brewing was a culture as varied and vibrant as the culture of America itself, invigorated by immigrants and the beer and food traditions they brought with them.

With these traditions and history in mind, GBB is proud of our craft and producing quality, local beer.

Come visit us at Geaghan’s Pub or at our Tasting Room in Brewer at our Production Facility.”
