Sept 11: Greendrinks Goes Wild at the Movies

Published by bgreendrinks on

Please join us on September 11th from 5-8pm when Greendrinks Goes Wild at Queen City Cinema Club with cohost Hirundo Wildlife Refuge! Come learn about Q3C, Downtown Bangor’s newest cultural addition and Hirundo Wildlife Refuge, a nearly 2,500-acre nature preserve just north of Bangor.

Q3C will be serving up cold local beer from Mason’s Brewing Company and food from W A Bean & Sons, while Hirundo takes advantage of the cinema’s two big screens to play newly created birds-eye view videos of their preserve.

As a reminder, Greendrinks is free and family-friendly (BRING THE KIDDOS) — we ask for a $5 donation, and to keep things low-waste, you should bring your own drinking vessel. If you forget, we’ll have compostable cups available for $1, and custom glassware for $5. All event proceeds go directly toward improving sustainability and community in the Bangor region through our Green Grant program
We hope to see you there!

Cheers!
