Feb 11: Greendrinks Goes Blue
Greendrinks is heading to the University of Maine Wells Conference Center to get educated about many of the institution’s sustainability initiatives on February 11th from 5-8 pm. Our main host will be University of Maine Dining, but there will also be other campus organizations in attendance. Come learn what they’ve been doing to “green” their operations!
We’ll have beer from Orono Brewing Company, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages for you while you catch up with all your favorite friends, new and old. UMaine Dining will be serving a range of snack options for you to enjoy, many of which will feature food grown locally.
As always, Greendrinks is a free family-friendly event, so bring the kiddos! There is a suggested $5 donation, and we ask that you bring your own drinking vessel. If you forget, we’ll have compostable cups available for $1, and custom vessels for $5. Proceeds from the event go toward helping Bangor Greendrinks provide grants to fund worthy projects that help make Bangor greener. See you there!
Cheers,
The Bangor Greendrinks Familia
