June 8: Blueberries for Paul
Who likes blueberries? We do! If you do, too, join us for our next virtual event on Tuesday, June 8th from 5-8 pm as we celebrate the work of the Downtown Bangor Partnership’s Beautification Committee and help that organization purchase edible plants for downtown Bangor. This event will be an online social gathering like the ones we’ve been doing recently. Attendees are encouraged to safely gather with friends.
The Beautification Committee ensures that downtown Bangor always looks its best through programs like Adopt a Garden, murals, flower boxes, and lighting. Now, the organization wants help to purchase edible plants, in particular blueberries and rhubarb, to be planted in Downtown Bangor.
If feasible, we’d ask you to consider donating your usual $5 or more, and all of the money that we raise on June 8th and for a few weeks after will be passed on to Downtown Bangor Beautiful to help purchase edible plants for downtown Bangor.

We also love it when you let us know that you’re attending the event! Be sure to post messages, photos, and short videos on the event wall to let us know that you’re attending. Group shots are encouraged (again, safely).
Finally, be sure to watch when the Bangor Greendrinks Chair, Mark, goes live for “the talk” around 6:30 pm on June 8th. This is the “Facebook Live” portion of the evening.
