June 14: Greendrinks & Everything Under The Sun
Join us for our next event at the Bangor Beer Company on June 16 from 5-8 pm as celebrate all things environment!We’ll be having a few things going on with this event. First off, we’ll be highlighting some of the green actions that BBC has been taking recently, including installation of massive solar panels that provide a significant amount of their electricity needs. We’ll also be hosting a couple of local land trusts, the Downeast Lakes Land Trust and the Forest Society of Maine, both of which will have informational tables at the event. And there might be another surprise or two, but you’ll need to come to the event to find out!
This will be an outdoor event in BBC’s beer garden. BBC will be pouring alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, plus there will be snacks to munch on. Do note that this event is not on our usual second Tuesday of the month. Events might be on different nights for a while as we get back into the swing of things.
As always, Greendrinks is a free family-friendly event, so bring the kiddos! There is a suggested $5 donation, and with your donation you’ll receive beverages and snacks. All funds raised will go to our Green Grants program, which are micro grants for local environmental projects.
