Oct 10: Greendrinks Beers & Bogs
Join us for our next event on Tuesday, October 10th from 5-8pm at the Caribou Bog Outdoor Center with the Orono Land Trust!
For this event, we’re going to check out all of the great work that the Orono Land Trust has been doing to set up the new Caribou Bog Outdoor Center! The OLT has been working really hard to make this an excellent recreational and community space, so you don’t want to miss this opportunity to see it!
In addition, Orono Brewing Company will be joining the fun and providing some brews for folks to sip on. We will also be pouring non-alcoholic beverages, and there will be snacks to munch on. Remember to bring your own drinking vessel!
Note: Weather permitting, there will be an opportunity at 4 pm on the day of the event for folks to have some guided access to the trails around the center. More info via a graphic will be posted soon.
Dogs on-leash are welcome outside (just not inside the center).
Limited parking is available at the Trail Center. There is additional parking along Taylor Rd and Putnam Rd. A volunteer will be on hand to direct cars at the Trail Center.
As always, Greendrinks is a free family-friendly event, so bring the kiddos! There is a suggested $5 donation. All funds raised will go to our Green Grants program, which are micro grants for local environmental projects.
